When I was young I had a tiny book called’ Chocolate and Cocoa’. It always fascinated me that the dark strongly flavoured sweet once emerged from the forests of South America. Eating chocolate leads to higher serotonon and endorphin levels in the brain and make you feel great. That’s why Valentine’s Day is all about gifting chocolates and flowers!
Chocolate has not been proved to trigger off acne and funnily this sweet is safe on your teeth.Dark chocolate seems to be better than white chocolate as it reported cuts down blood pressure and the flavanol content destroysoxygen free radicals that harm cells. But since chocolates are high in calorie content, you can eat your chocolate and simultaneously cut down on any other calorie-rich food.
