Happy Diet
When Kelly asked about happiness in her blog lawmummy.com, I started wondering about what makes people happier in general.
Though many think that money doesn’t really make us all happy inside, I think money is important. Research says that money doesn’t really change your happiness levels at all. So even if you are super rich, you could get depressed.
Going out for a walk or engaging in exercise gives you a high. That’s because a chemical called serotonin increases in your body and your happiness goes up too.
Chocolate makes me happy. It contains an endorphin-increasing component called phenylethylamine. Too much chocolate isn’t good for you though. Watch out for the high sugar.
Relaxation makes us all happy.Going outside, talking to friends, enjoying ourselves.
The happiness quotient in our lives should go up more. Happiness helps health to improve. I’d say try to do what you love as much as possible. Take it easy and if you are in a stressful situation do your best to come out of it.

Thanks so much for reminding us that we can achieve happiness in lots of different ways.
In today’s materialistic society, many people believe happiness can be found in making lots of money, but that, as you point out, is not true.
Beautiful sunsets, hearing your child say “mama” or “daddy” for the first time, being able to help a friend in need, going a weekend getaway with your spouse, etc., these indeed are all exapmples of what can bring us happiness and fullfillment.
