Seriously though, the British Gillian McKeith has had a big impact on me. Her programme “You are what you eat” influenced my eating habits and still does… Even though she looks like a gargoyle on the side of a church.

Neelima, Years (decades?) ago, Susan Powter was the ‘fitness guru’ of the moment.
She had a saying that has always stuck in my mind. She said that people have to do three things in order to be healthier, lose weight and generally feel better about themselves.
Those three words? “Eat, Breath, Move”.
Eat the right foods, in the right amounts, at the right time.
Breath deeply, using your diaphram, to oxygenate your blood, which, in turn, sends oxygen to your heart, lungs, brain, etc.
Move your body at least 20-30 minutes a day, preferably with aerobic activity of some kind.
That’s what keeps me motivated!
