Twins And You

by

How do you know if twins are on the way for you? This link might help you.

twins.jpgHaving twins/triplets,etc is always a secret desire…it’s fun to see two or three replicas of each other walking in the park or running around in the living room. But the reality is that the day your ultrasound confirms that you are going to have more than one child, your heart beat will go up and you will be terrified at the prospect of more than two eyes looking up to you for guidance.

Twin tips:

-After the ordeal/pleasure(depending on how you look at it) of the twins’ birth, be prepared for a full-time job of playing parent.

-Get as much help as you can in the first year.

-Be doubly patient.

-Be supportive of your spouse;it’s a difficult financial overhaul when you have more than one child. So the question of finances is a tricky one.

-Read as many twin manuals as you can and don’t succumb to stress though that’s next to impossible.

-Prepare to see yourself metamorphize. Something happens when you are suddenly loaded with a sense of responsibility. For better or worse, you change.

My wife has quit her full time job to be with the babies. You need complete understanding between the parents to make it easy.
