Who’s in Charge?

chess.jpgIf you think you are the boss when it comes to your health, then chances are you will work harder on keeping yourself fit. Statistics reveal that less and less people are taking health into their hands and are pessimistic about any durable change that they can produce. Read this story.

If you are confident about your role in staying healthy then you are less likely to smoke, binge drink or indulge in aggressive eating behaviors. In fact, you will take more steps to stay fit. You will frequent the gym regularly, learn some yoga and acquire low-portion,low fat diets. Most importantly you’ll stick with the plan.

You can even control your genetic destiny to some extent by finding out the odds that you ihave to inherit various conditions like heart disease, diabetes,etc. If you find out, you can try to live a healthier lifestyle and lessen(prevention is impossible as many other factors figure in the equation of life span) the odds of contracting those conditions.
